I'm not a programmer, so this may be a stupid question, but is it possible to change the chat room to read the log-in cookie from a regular .asp forum, and log the user into the chat based on that cookie? It would sort of like be logging in as a guest...but I don't want to allow guest logins manually. I basically just don't want my forum users to have to register separately to use the chat room. It would be great if the two databases could just share username info...but I've read the forum posts on that, and every answer in there is WAY over my head.
