Error message when uploading image

Hello Adam,

we recently updated our system and now we get the following error message every time we try to upload an image:

"image is in the wrong format".

We just can not find out which setting we have changed and I could not find anything in the documentation or here in the forum.

Could you please tell me which setting causes the message?

I successfully uploaded the Image (Sonnenuntergang.jpg).

I am quite shure that it is not to do whith the image because we tried uploading images that we allready uploaded before our update.

It can't be the Max Image dimesion either because I croped the Image in Photoshop before and checked that it is no weird Image format. Its a standard JPG.

It can't be the format because we made shure that in the list of allowed formats JPG is included as well as GIF and PNG etc...

I don't know where else to look. Its probably just some tiny setting hidden somewhere ...

Adam,

could you please tell me what can cause the error message "image is in the wrong format" so that we can check all the settings.

It is quite urgent and we can not figure out what it is.

Please let me know if you have further questions or if you need more information on that matter.

Open CuteSoft_Client\CuteEditor\Dialogs\InsertImage.aspx.

In line 243, you will find the following code:

        try
        {
            img = System.Drawing.Image.FromStream(new System.IO.MemoryStream(data));
        }
        catch
        {
            return "Image is in the wrong format.";
        }

The logic is simple: we will show this error when the process of creating an Image from the specified data stream failed.

Adam : i have the same error "image is in the wrong format" how can solve this error ?

i upload the file in the demo link, but the same file receive this error in my server.

Please respond Asap

Does it happen to all images or just one particular image?
