Using the editor for a newsletter app.. how can i send either html or text versions to users, per their preferences?   Do I need to save as RTF and read from that for text users?   (''text'', in regards to email, is really RTF.. right?)

Is an Editor required in the page to access the Image Dialog? .. and is there a way to access the dialog without it?   In the interest of providing consistent user experience I've a situation where I'd like to use the Image Dialog to upload, manage images in folders.. (albums) .. and then close without returning a value?.. and then refresh ...

First off.. I appreciate that you guys are so receptive to suggestions and input... and that you actively participate in your forums.  I tried, and implemented deeply into my site, an editor of a competitor.  Yes.. Free.. (though I paid for source) but, it is just too frustrating knowing that your forum posts and questions basically go ...

If I may interject-   Could the filename generation be configurable?  I'd like to name files by Year, Month, Day, time.. etc.  So they would always show in order of create date when sorted by name.About creating PDF.. excellent!  I, for one, have a great need for that.   Thanks

That same question was brewing in my mind- if i understand you correctly.. (though, i'm not DNN'n ;-)   It would be great if the ImageDialog:   - had a checkbox, (or config) to create a thumb, wrapped in a link tag, that linked a popup to the full image... (even better if the thumb is a generated thumb a fraction of full size ...

I found this post:   How to: Use the image selector from CuteEditor outside of the editor itself which is much like what i want to accomplish, however, the ''<PageProperties... etc'' still isn't recognized.. and Firefox doesn't like the ''createRange()'' method.   Any way to make that script work in Firefox?   David

Thanks Adam   The example fails in FireFox(1.5).. ''v_parentform has no properties''   I would like to have a ''modal'' functionality- where, user cannot focus on parent window until child is closed.   If the sample can work in FF, others(?), I could use it while refining a modal solution.   David
