How to use the ai text adventure

Start an interactive story by choosing a genre, describing a character, or asking for an opening scene. The AI narrator presents a short situation and a few possible actions. Choose one or write your own move to continue. Recent conversation provides the game context, so remind the narrator of important details when a longer story moves beyond that recent history.

Type a message and select Send message, or use Control or Command plus Enter. Each message is limited to 2,000 characters. The server includes at most twelve recent messages and limits every generated reply to 150 tokens. Replies are deliberately short; ask a focused follow-up when you want more detail. A response that reaches the limit is identified in the status line.

Conversation history is kept in this browser’s localStorage, with a maximum of forty messages. The server forwards the recent context needed for each reply but does not keep an application conversation database. Use Delete conversation to clear the local history or download a JSON copy before removing it. Each client address has hourly and daily request limits, and a shared daily cap keeps usage bounded.

Frequently asked questions

Who receives my messages?

When you send a message, the Richscripts server forwards it and recent conversation context to the configured AI provider. The server holds the provider credential. Do not paste passwords, private API keys, or information you do not want processed by that provider.

Will the conversation follow me to another device?

No. History is stored in the current browser for this site and app. Clearing site data or using another browser removes that continuity. Private browsing or storage restrictions may prevent persistence; the page reports a storage failure when it occurs.

Can I rely on every answer?

No. AI responses may contain mistakes or invent details. Check factual claims and test technical suggestions independently. These apps are for conversation, learning, and entertainment, and do not provide emergency support or a professional advisory service.
