How this tool works

Choose a content type, fill in the fields and generate your PNG. WiFi codes contain the password as readable data; share them only with people who should join. Contact cards use vCard 3.0. Everything is generated locally. Keep the white border and test scanning before printing. Supported text size depends on error correction, up to 2,000 UTF-8 bytes. Camera support for WiFi and vCard varies by device.

Why does my QR code look denser after I edit the text?

More data needs a larger grid. Keeping URLs short, using a link shortener, or dropping “https://www.” where possible produces a simpler code that scans faster and from further away.

What is error correction and which level should I pick?

Error correction adds redundancy so a code still scans when part of it is dirty, curved or covered by a logo. Higher levels survive more damage but make the code denser; low or medium is fine for screens, higher for print that will be handled.

Does the WiFi QR code work on every phone?

Recent iOS and Android cameras join a network directly from it. Older phones may need a scanning app, and hidden networks or enterprise logins with a username are not covered by the format.
