Repair small marks in your browser
Remove a small unwanted mark from an image by selecting the area you want to repair. This browser tool uses surrounding colors to fill selected pixels, then smooths the repaired region. It is designed for small text marks, date stamps, and simple blemishes against relatively plain backgrounds. It is not an automatic watermark detector and does not use a cloud AI service.
Choose a JPG, PNG, or WebP image, drag a file onto the input area, or paste an image from your clipboard. Files can be up to ten megabytes. Large images are resized so their longest edge is no more than twelve hundred pixels. The displayed dimensions are the dimensions of your downloaded result. Keep the original file if you need to preserve its full resolution.
Paint over the mark with the selection brush. The purple overlay shows which pixels will be replaced. Adjust the brush size for small details or larger areas, and use Erase selection to correct the mask. Undo restores the previous brush selection, with up to fifteen selection steps retained. Select the mark completely, including its outline or shadow, while avoiding nearby details you want to preserve.
Repair selection runs in a background worker on your device. Progress indicates the smoothing passes, and Cancel stops processing while keeping the selection available. The tool limits each repair to fifteen percent of the image area. Smaller selections generally give you more control. You can repair another area after the first pass, or reset to the original image and start again.
Use Show original to compare your result with the starting image. Download the edited result as PNG or JPG once you are satisfied. PNG retains supported transparency; JPG uses a white background behind transparent areas. Downloads do not include the purple selection overlay. Clear discards the current image, selection, and result from the page.
Results depend on the background. Flat sky and plain walls are easier to fill than faces, lettering, repeating patterns, or detailed textures. Large repairs may look blurred or show visible seams. The tool estimates replacement colors; it cannot recover pixels hidden by an opaque mark. Use images you own or are authorized to edit. Processing stays in the browser, and this page does not upload your picture.
