Typed fields are optional for a blank template. Before sending, confirm the actual recipient’s fax number. The country selector helps the RichFax workflow; downloading does not validate or send to that number.

Download free cover PDF creates a one-page PDF on your device. If you upload that downloaded sheet as a document, it counts toward document pages; disable the workspace’s optional cover to avoid two covers. Use the built-in organizer to put it first.

Use details in RichFax transfers only recipient and cover fields to the same-tab workspace. It does not upload this PDF, create an order or send a fax. Choose Use these recipient & cover details there, add the actual document pages, and review the final fax. The workspace generates its own standard free cover; this page’s PDF paper size and appearance are not transferred.

A useful cover stays brief

Include the person or department, sender and a short subject or reference. Follow the recipient’s own instructions. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information on a routing page. A cover label does not create confidentiality protection or regulatory compliance.

Keep your downloaded copy secure. If you transfer details, they are available for 15 minutes. The snapshot remains in browser session storage until the workspace consumes it or the tab’s session is cleared; expired details cannot be restored. Closing the tab normally clears that session. Sending or saving the prepared fax later uploads its PDF under the normal RichFax document-handling rules.
