Sign a PDF online without installing software

When someone sends a document that needs a handwritten signature, you can add a visible signature using your browser. Open your PDF, draw with a mouse, stylus, or touchscreen, and tap the place where your signature belongs. The original file remains unchanged: the download creates a separate PDF containing your placements. Try the sample and preview for free. Downloading the finished PDF costs US$1, with no subscription.

How do I place and resize a signature?

Draw inside the signature box, then choose a size using the slider. Click anywhere on the displayed page to add your signature. Use the page arrows to move through a document and add signatures on additional pages. The size slider affects the next placement. To reposition a signature, choose Undo placement and place it again. Undo stroke removes the last pen stroke; Clear signature resets your drawing without removing signatures already placed.

Does my document leave my device?

PDF processing and signature drawing happen locally in this browser. Payment verification sends only a document fingerprint and reference to our server. This tool does not send your PDF or signature to a conversion service. Editing work is held in memory. When you start checkout, the finished PDF is saved in this browser so it can be restored after payment. Use the same browser and keep its site data until you download. On a shared computer, remove your downloaded file when you have finished and follow your usual document-handling practices.

Is this a digital signature?

This tool adds a handwritten image to the PDF. It does not provide a signing certificate, identity verification, an audit trail, or tamper-evident certification. If the recipient requires a specific signing workflow, use that workflow. Documents with detected existing certificate signatures are rejected to avoid invalidating them. This tool does not assess whether a document or signature meets a particular legal requirement.

Which PDFs can I use?

Choose an unencrypted PDF up to 20 MB with no more than 100 pages. Password-protected files are not supported. Scanned documents can be signed when their pages render correctly. Complex forms or unusual PDF features may behave differently after editing, so always review the downloaded copy, including every signed page, before sharing it. If a file cannot be opened, export a fresh unsigned PDF from its original application and try again.
