Estimate your sending across 12 months
Estimated RichFax subtotal for those separate sends
1 separate fax × US$2.99 each, with 5 document pages. Applicable tax is not included.
Estimate uses the published RichFax rates. Your actual order and checkout total control payment.
Assumes every fax has the selected page count at the current per-fax rate. It is not a bundle, price lock, prepaid purchase or checkout quote. Each new send is reviewed and paid separately. The generated RichFax cover is free; source-PDF cover pages count as document pages. Currency conversion and applicable tax are excluded.
Prepare one fax →Three payment models to compare
| Model | What you buy | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| One-fax payment | One transmission order. RichFax uses this model for sending. | Document pages, optional cover, tax, final result and failure/refund policy. |
| Prepaid page credits | A balance consumed by future transmissions. | Minimum purchase, expiry, destination rates and rules for failed attempts. |
| Monthly or annual plan | A recurring service allowance, often including a receiving number. | Total commitment, outbound/received quotas, overage, renewal and cancellation. |
“Pay as you go” can describe different products. Look at the actual checkout and renewal terms, not only the headline. A no-subscription service can still require an account or a prepaid purchase.
Compare ongoing base costs fairly
MyFax’s official pricing page, checked October 13, 2026, advertises a regular Home Office monthly rate of US$12 and an annual-plan equivalent of US$8.25 per month, with 100 send and 100 receive pages. It also advertises trial or first-month promotions. Regular base-rate arithmetic gives US$144 for twelve monthly charges or US$99 at the advertised annual equivalent; these are not final checkout quotes.
For twelve five-document-page sends, RichFax’s current sending subtotals add to US$35.88 before tax. For fifty-two such sends, they add to US$155.48. A recurring plan can be better value at higher volume or when you need receiving. This is not a feature-matched comparison: RichFax’s sending payment does not buy a personal receiving number. Promotions, destination charges, overages, tax and currency conversion can change the result.
No renewal does not mean no account
You can prepare and preview locally before signing in. Sending requires an account and verified email, followed by secure checkout for the specific fax. RichFax does not use a sending credit balance or charge a sending-plan renewal. Saved contacts and previous orders do not create a new send.
Already paid? Check that existing order in My faxes. Do not create another order just because an email or status update is delayed. Use the recovery guide if payment and delivery do not agree.
Check failure rules before comparing price alone
When the provider confirms failure, RichFax initiates a full refund of that order’s payment, including applicable tax. A successful delivery is not automatically refundable, and an uncertain result needs reconciliation rather than automatic resending. Your bank controls when a completed refund appears. Read the service terms.
For a genuinely free short transmission, compare the published free allowances. For regular receiving or team features, compare plans that actually include those capabilities.
