The app is available in Canada and the US. Downloading is free; fax sending is paid per order. You can also open the RichFax website in your mobile browser. Use the same account for saved recipients and orders. Current app and website controls differ.

Send with the Android app
Scan paper or import a PDF
Choose Scan a page, Upload PDF or Choose a document photo. Allow camera access if you want a new photograph. Use the camera editor’s crop option when available, inspect the photo, rotate if needed and choose Add page. Repeat for additional pages.
Set the recipient and optional cover
Choose Canada or United States, enter the current fax number and add a recipient name if useful. You can choose a saved contact after signing in. The optional cover is free; its native text fields currently support English characters. Use the website for other cover text.
Inspect the prepared PDF
Choose Preview & share prepared PDF and inspect the complete file using an available PDF viewer. This creates or shares a file; it does not send a fax. Use the website’s all-page viewer and organizer if individual pages need editing.
Save, then pay for the order
Sign in and verify your account email, then choose Save prepared fax to my account. The saved draft has not been sent and expires after 24 hours. Open My faxes and the eligible order’s Checkout button, then review the final total in secure checkout. Sending begins after payment is confirmed.
Check that same order
Return to My faxes and refresh the order’s status. Keep its reference. A queued or uncertain result is not an instruction to buy a second send. Use the website for its downloadable report and fuller progress explanations.
Use the browser for complete page editing
Open the fax workspace, select PDFs/JPGs/PNGs or Scan a document, then choose Review & arrange pages. Move pages across files, rotate or remove pages, and undo recent changes. Review your fax includes the exact prepared-PDF preview and the optional cover. See the illustrated PDF guide.
Both workflows use the same approved sending price: US$2.99 for five document pages plus US$0.30 per extra page. Applicable tax is added and shown at checkout. The limits are 50 document pages and 20 MB for the batch/prepared PDF. The free generated cover is separate from the document-page price.
Avoid the common extra steps
- Save a cloud file or email attachment as an actual PDF; RichFax does not fetch a sharing link.
- Inspect the photo after cropping; improvement filters cannot restore missing or blurry text.
- If verification or order email is missing, check the email guide and the existing website order.
- Use the failure guide before another paid send when delivery is uncertain.
For receiving, your verified email must have assigned-number access. Read the receiving guide; installing the app does not automatically rent a fax number.
